The Department of General Surgery at Government Thiruvarur Medical College & Hospital provides comprehensive surgical care together with advanced surgical education and training. The department diagnoses and manages a wide range of surgical conditions through evidence-based surgical practice, careful pre-operative evaluation, modern operative techniques and attentive postoperative care.
